From a sole trader with a small team of consultants, Tony has overseen IASP's evolution into a profitable, efficient business that practises what it preaches by employing IASP's wholly-owned technology to enable a dedicated team to manage a workload typically requiring a much larger staff.
Before moving into the Internet industry in 1998, Tony worked on both sides of the microphone in the commercial radio industry.
He has fond memories of 7 years working breakfast shifts, but as a night owl, even fonder memories of years travelling nationally as a sports broadcaster: a role that netted a string of Radio Industry and related media awards.
As the saying goes, "You can take the boy out of Melbourne, but you can't take Melbourne out of the boy," Tony re-located IASP's head office from Canberra (where our primary network is located and we still enjoy some of our strongest client and partner relationships) to Melbourne in 2003.
On both a personal and organisational level, Tony is strong believer in business efficiency. The old adage of "working smarter not harder" has been a driving factor in the evolution of IASP's applications over the last decade.
"IASP has integrated the software systems we develop and sell commercially into all areas of our business: it saves real time and real money and allows me to focus on the most important initiatives".
Tony really loves the work, but says "life is too short to spend 120 hours a week at the office, especially when there is technology readily available that streamlines business processes and highly automates management of all the mundane tasks for you".
